Bella Villa Vintage Rentals | Friends! I am SO excited to be writing this blog post today about my new friend, Rosanna Funiciello Smith of Bella Villa Antiques and Rentals! Rosanna and I first met when planning out the details of the styled shoot for my website. I knew I wanted to use some really unique rental pieces for the look I wanted to achieve. I stumbled upon Bella Villa Antiques in Marshall, Virginia. Just around the corner from the best brunch around, Field & Main, Bella Villa is the hidden gem of Marshall.

 

Larger Than Life

I reached out to Rosanna and asked to come in to see all her goodies and WOW! She reminds me SO much of one of my Italian aunts! (Amy, I’m talking about you!) Joyful, bubbly, and a larger-than-life personality, she is FANTASTIC! Her warmth and hospitality is something not often found. Rosanna made me feel like a part of her tribe immediately. Listening to her speak about the origin of each item was such an indicator of how special each piece is to her. There’s a story behind everything in her collection and she knows all the details.

 

The Bella Villa Vintage Rentals Design Process

You can tell when Rosanna gets a spark of inspiration, because she’ll pop up out of her chair, start running around the warehouse pulling different pieces and bring them back to show you how they can all work together to bring your whole look together. It’s so amazing to watch! Rosanna took my initial idea and added her own flair, while still making sure it also represented my own style and brand. She claims that she is a stylist, not a designer because she doesn’t have formal training, but I disagree. Rosanna can bring to life your vision for your wedding or event. She creates a story while adding a level of aesthetic and whimsy.

While you are visiting Marshall, make sure to check out Field & Main for dinner. A farm to table restaurant, it’s my personal favorite weekend brunch spot! Tony, the manager, is so friendly and he’s sure to make you feel welcome and create an amazing cocktail just for you!

For a great cup of coffee that’s different than your average Starbucks run, head over to Cordial Coffee- a go-to for a shot of caffeine!

The town of Marshall is small and quaint, but with lots of great shops to check out. Make sure you come hungry and I promise… you won’t be disappointed!
