Here, our planning process is hands-on, high-end, and extremely personal (because you deserve so much more than cookie-cutter). From the details you see on the day-of—to the ones you don’t—we’re here to bring a sense of ease and effortlessness to every aspect of your event.

Karen Duckett has always been enamored with the world of weddings and can’t imagine working in any other arena. Her 10-year (and counting) tenure in the events industry includes time in catering and sales for all-inclusive venues—which allows her incredible insight when it comes to working well with venues and curating the best creative teams on behalf of her couples. An LVL Academy grad and certified wedding planner, she brings a sense of efficiency and urgency to every aspect of the planning process—whether she’s mocking up a custom design board or helping a bride recover an engagement ring that’s accidentally been flushed down the drain (true story...and the ring was recovered!).

Noelle Hoffman

Noelle comes to KD Custom Events with a wide variety of special event and wedding coordination experience. She has both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Recreation and Leisure Studies with an emphasis on event planning. She started her career working for the Hyatt Hotel Corporation as a wedding coordinator in their Hyatt Regency in Louisville, KY. She then moved to Fort Benning, GA where she headed the Recreation Delivery System team which handled and planned all special events for the base. She has experience with events attended by up to 30,000 people. Noelle is very excited to be rejoining the wedding industry. No matter the size of your wedding, Noelle will masterfully be able to help you coordinate every detail so that it runs smoothly and truly is the day of your dreams.
