Master Event Production Schedule

Ensuring that your wedding day feels effortless and flows in an organic way comes from strategic, educated planning. 

We work to develop a Production Schedule, touching base with each of your vendors directly to confirm arrival times, load in/load out policies, directions to your venue and the evening’s order of events. 

This allows your vendors to work as a team- essential to a cohesive experience for you and your guests.

Budget Management and Allocation Guidance

We know that having conversations about the overall wedding budget, who is contributing, how much to allocate per vendor category, can lead to tension, overwhelm and stress. Most couples and parents do not have the experience of planning events in order to understand what is considered average or high for budget allocations per vendor category. 

We will guide you through this process so that you make informed decisions about how much you can expect to invest based on your priorities. We help manage your budget, vendor invoice schedules, estimates vs. actual costs and track payments alleviating much of the stress and overwhelm associated with planning an event.



Design Process

Our priority is getting to know you and your fiancé as individuals as well as a couple so that we can tailor your guest experiences and visual details to reflect your story. We begin with an in-depth questionnaire followed up by a meeting at your home so that we can really get a big picture understanding of your personal style. 

We know that you love Pinterest, so we have you curate your boards in a unique KD Custom Event format so that we can pinpoint exactly what you envision. From there, our creative process starts to unfold. We’ll mock up a mood board for your review. Once you select your favorite, we dive deep into creating an in-depth design board covering options for each area of your venue- from the Entrance to the Formal Exit, no detail is left unturned. 

Once you approve the final designs, we send out the board to everyone involved in the set up and implementation of these designs to ensure your vendors understand the visual goals.

Custom Checklist

One of our priorities is ensuring that you feel on-track and informed throughout the planning. We personalize a plan just for you that you can even sync to your personal calendar. You’ll receive a custom planning checklist broken down by category and due date. This unique portal allows us access to review your progress as planning partners saving us time and redundancy at our meetings together. 


RSVP Management and Meal Tracker

Our shared planning platform allows us the ease of formatting your floor plan in real time accuracy! From your engagement party to your departure brunch, this guest management tool has all-in-one features to prevent you from having to create countless spreadsheets. Because this system is shared, we can easily add or remove tables as your guest count develops, adjust rental orders as needed and even note dietary restrictions and specific meal selections. We know you will LOVE this tool!

Wedding Weekend Planning

We’ll craft an all-encompassing experience for you and your guests throughout your entire wedding weekend—allowing you to relax and celebrate with those who matter most. From your welcome dinner to the Big Day to your farewell brunch, we’re here to ensure a cohesive aesthetic and a seamless experience from start to finish. We are also more than happy to arrange guest activities like wine tours or golf outings.

Full Service Planning + Design

Upon booking, we’ll start with foundational items—like building out your budget and setting up a site tour if you’ve already booked your venue. From there, we’ll dive deep into custom event design—ensuring we choose intentional elements that enhance your event setting and speak to your story—before we begin curating a team of the vendors best suited to bring your vision to fruition. Throughout the process, you’ll have as much involvement in the dreamy details as you desire—while our team will shoulder any stresses, manage logistics, and oversee vendors on your behalf.


Design and Coordination, our version of "partial planning",  is perfect for the couple who has the time and organizational skills needed to vet vendors and remain on track—but who needs an experienced DC wedding planner to ensure a stunning aesthetic and manage event logistics. We’ll dive deep into the design you’ve dreamt up, peruse your Pinterest boards, and ensure your personal love story is weaved into every last element of your event aesthetic as we help you bring your vision to life.

*Event Management services are offered on a case by case basis and are booked six months out from your event date. Base pricing starts at 2,500

Our a la carte Wedding Planning Sessions are perfect for couples who just need a little extra help and reassurance. We'll meet for 2 hours to chat about your wedding, peruse your Pinterest boards, and answer any of your lingering questions. You'll leave this meeting with confidence and a roadmap for the rest of your wedding planning process!
